Dr. Steixner, a graduate of The University of Pennsylvania and The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, underwent rigorous surgical training, earning accolades like the Clinical Excellence Award in Urology from UPenn and the Resident Achievement Award from the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons. Known for his expertise, he serves as a medical contributor for Men’s Health Magazine, Details Magazine, and NBC, and has appeared on FOX News, Sirius Doctor Radio, Forbes, Livestrong, and The New York Post.

Dr. Manish N Trivedi, MD

Dr. Manish Trivedi is a board-certified infectious disease specialist and an invaluable member of our board of advisors, offering his deep expertise in tropical medicine and travel health. A Summa Cum Laude graduate of Cornell University, he earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in 2007. Dr. Trivedi completed his fellowship in Infectious Diseases at North Shore-Long Island Jewish University Hospital in 2012.

With dual board certifications in Infectious Disease (2014) and Internal Medicine (2012), Dr. Trivedi’s specialized knowledge in managing infectious diseases, particularly those encountered in global travel and tropical environments, makes him a sought-after expert. His guidance is essential to our mission, providing travelers with the critical insights and tools needed to stay healthy while visiting high-risk regions around the world.

Dr. Kurt Hoffmayer MD, PharmD, FACS, FHRS

Director of Pharmacology

Kurt Hoffmayer, MD, PharmD, is a board-certified cardiologist who specializes in cardiac electrophysiology.

As a professor in the Department of Medicine, Dr. Hoffmayer conducts research on safety and efficacy of antiarrhythmic therapy. His research has been published in many peer-reviewed journals, including Circulation, Journal of the American College of Cardiology and Heart Rhythm.

Dr. Hoffmayer completed fellowships in electrophysiology and cardiovascular medicine at UC San Francisco, where he also did a residency in internal medicine. He earned his medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia and a doctoral degree in pharmacy at Temple University School of Pharmacy.
